Le chemin de fer de la vallée de Harmersbach est une ligne secondaire longue de 10,6 kilomètres, qui se sépare de la ligne Schwarzwaldbahn à Biberach, se termine à Oberharmersbach-Riersbach et est exploitée par la Südwestdeutschen Landesverkehrs-GmbH. Elle suit sur tout son parcours le Harmersbach.
Le chemin de fer de la vallée de Harmersbach a été ouvert le 15 décembre 1904 par l'entreprise de construction et d'exploitation Vering & Waechter basée à Berlin, et a été transféré à la Deutsche Eisenbahn-Betriebsgesellschaft AG le 1er avril 1917. Depuis 1963, elle fait partie de la SWEG, propriété de l'État.
