La station de métro Waterloo est une station de métro de la ligne A du tramway de Hanovre. La station de bifurcation à quatre voies est située sous la place Waterlooplatz, dans le quartier Calenberger Neustadt de Hanovre. Les trains des lignes 3, 7 et 9 s'y arrêtent, ainsi que la ligne 10, qui est suspendue pendant le service nocturne.
Le 16 novembre 1965, la construction du tramway de Hanovre a commencé à Waterlooplatz. Peu de temps après, les travaux ont été interrompus en raison de problèmes de financement. Après que l'État fédéral a financé depuis 1967 des projets pour améliorer les conditions de circulation des communes, les travaux ont repris.
