La Montagne du Tonnerre est une élévation de 287,3 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, située au nord de l'Eifel, entre Stolberg et la forêt urbaine d'Eschweiler dans la région urbaine d'Aix-la-Chapelle.
La montagne se trouve dans le quartier de Donnerberg, qui appartient à Stolberg depuis 1935, et lui a donné son nom. Jusqu'alors, elle était située sur le territoire d'Eschweiler. Dans les années 1950, un émetteur WDR a été construit sur la montagne, dont le support de l'antenne est un mât en acier treillis de 231 m de haut, construit en 1993 et visible bien au-delà de Stolberg.
La montagne donne également son nom à la caserne située sur le Donnerberg, la caserne de Donnerberg.
