Densow est un village et une ancienne commune allemande située dans l’arrondissement d’Uckermark. Le village, fondé au Moyen Âge, tombe en ruine dès la 2ème moitié du 14ème siècle. Vers 1700, un four à goudron a été installé dans la zone communale, qui a été suivi d’une Amtsmeierei en 1736 et d’une colonie en 1749, à partir de laquelle le village actuel de Densow s’est développé. Densow était une municipalité indépendante jusqu’en 2003. Aujourd’hui, Densow comprend également les quartiers d’Annenwalde, Alt Placht et Neu Placht ainsi que le quartier résidentiel de Vorwerk Annenwalde. En 2013, le quartier comptait 270 habitants.
Densow est situé dans la partie nord de la municipalité de Templin. Il est bordé au nord par la ville de Lychen, au nord-est sur Gandenitz, un quartier de Templin, à l’est sur la ville de Templin, et au sud sur Röddelin et Beutel, qui sont tous deux des quartiers de Templin.
