La réserve naturelle de l'Helletal inférieur est une réserve naturelle de 34,2 hectares située dans la ville de Winterberg, à l'ouest d'Elkeringhausen. La zone a été désignée en 2008 dans le plan paysager de Winterberg par le Haut-Sauerlandkreis. Déjà en 1992, la zone de la réserve naturelle actuelle avait été désignée par ordonnance comme réserve naturelle "Im Boden". La réserve naturelle fait également partie de la zone FFH Réserve forestière de Glindfeld-Orketal.
