L'écluse de Fankel est une écluse sur la Moselle près de Bruttig-Fankel. Elle est équipée d'un weir sectoriel, d'une écluse pour les grands navires de fret à moteur, d'une écluse pour bateaux, d'une centrale hydroélectrique et d'un escalier à poissons. L'écluse a été achevée en 1964 dans le cadre de la canalisation de la Moselle. À côté de l'écluse se trouve le poste de commande central de Fankel de RWE Power AG, à partir duquel toutes les écluses et centrales hydroélectriques le long de la Moselle et de la Sarre sont contrôlées.
