Le lac de gravier et de baignade de Birkwitz est un ancien lac d'extraction situé entre Pillnitz et Pirna dans le district de Saxe Suisse-Osterzgebirge.
Il se trouve à environ 20 kilomètres de Dresde et se situe entre les quartiers de Birkwitz au nord-ouest et de Pratzschwitz au sud-ouest de Pirna. Le lac mesure environ 900 mètres de long et 950 mètres de large. Il abrite deux petites îles. La partie ouest est utilisée comme lac de baignade et est une propriété privée. L'exploitant et propriétaire est une société de droit civil. En juillet, un festival de plage a lieu chaque année.
