Ullersdorf est un village autrefois indépendant du district de Görlitz et se trouve dans la commune de Waldhufen. En 1938, le village a été incorporé à Jänkendorf avec Wilhelminenthal et Schäferei et est ainsi devenu un district. En 1994, la nouvelle commune de Waldhufen a été formée à partir de Jänkendorf et de trois villages voisins.
Ullersdorf est situé à environ six kilomètres au sud de Niesky, au nord des montagnes de Königshain, et borde directement Jänkendorf. Au sud se trouve la zone de l’étang d’Ullersdorf.
