Le village d’Oberulrain est un village et une ancienne commune allemande de l’arrondissement de Kelheim, en Basse-Bavière. Jusqu’en 1978, elle formait une municipalité indépendante. Oberulrain appartient à la Hallertau.
La communauté se trouve au sud du Danube, sur le côté ouest d’une crête plate qui sépare les vallées du Danube et de l’Aben et s’étend dans les plaines inondables plates des deux fleuves.
Ratisbonne est à environ 45 km à l’est et Ingolstadt à l’ouest à 30 km. Munich est située à environ 90 km au sud de la ville.
