Pannesheide est un village paroissial dans la commune allemande d'Herzogenrath, situé parallèlement à la frontière germano-néerlandaise au sud de Bleijerheide. Le village se trouve à une altitude de plus de 160 mètres.
Le Bleijerheiderbeek constitue ici le petit fleuve frontière, et à l'ouest de Pannesheide, l'Amstelbach coule vers le nord pour se jeter dans le Bleijerheiderbeek. L'Amstelbach est accompagné par une forêt en pente, la zone naturelle : Laub- und Auenwaldgebiet bei Herzogenrath westlich Pannesheide im Amstelbachtal. On y trouve également les ruines du château de Haus Heyden.
