La pierre de granit est polie et contient une fontaine intégrée. L'eau s'écoule doucement sur la pierre, révélant des nuances dans la couleur de la pierre. Une ligne dessinée de contours taillés dans la pierre est marquée. L'art de l'eau symbolise avec ses petites 'rivières' à la surface la situation de Tønder dans les marais, voisin de la mer et des terres asséchées.
