Granieten is gepolijst en heeft een ingebouwde fontein. Het water stroomt rustig over de steen en roept nuanses op in de kleur van de steen. In de steen is een lijntekening van uitgesneden lijnverlopen gemarkeerd. De waterkunst symboliseert met zijn kleine 'rivieren' op het oppervlak de ligging van Tønder in het moeras met de zee en het binnenwater als buren.
