La Résidence Gériatrique de Mahón a été construite en 1738 par les Anglais, qui voulaient créer un hôpital de charité de nouvelle conception rue Cós de Gràcia, avec un oratoire dédié au Bon Pasteur. Ce bâtiment était financé par des dons d'héritages et par des aumônes. Ce bâtiment a été édifié sur un hôpital médiéval qui accueillait des personnes malades et dans le besoin.
