La gare routière d'Alicante est située à côté du port d'Alicante, au Moll de Ponent, à l'intersection des avenues de Loring et d'Óscar Espl.
La gare routière a été construite par la municipalité d'Alicante et inaugurée le 1er septembre 2011, lorsque les services fournis par l'ancienne gare, située en plein centre-ville, ont été progressivement déplacés jusqu'à ce qu'elle ferme définitivement le 13 septembre 2011.
