L'Université Polytechnique de Cartagena ou UPCT est une université publique située dans la ville murcienne de Cartagena, avec des écoles fondamentalement de type technologique et entrepreneurial. Elle existe officiellement depuis le 3 août 1998.
La création de l'École Universitaire Polytechnique de Cartagena a commencé en 1975 en conséquence de l'intégration des études à l'Université de Murcie, avec le but d'y intégrer les Écoles Universitaires d'Ingénierie Technique Minière et d'Ingénierie Technique Industrielle et de pouvoir agréger au nouveau centre d'autres études.
