Carrascosa de Tajo est une petite localité espagnole intégrée comme quartier au sein de la municipalité de Cifuentes, et située dans la comarca de La Alcarria, province de Guadalajara, dans la communauté autonome de Castilla-La Mancha. Carrascosa de Tajo a été habitée par des celtibères, des romains, des wisigoths et des musulmans. Le village actuel a été fondé au XIIe siècle, appelé Carrascosa d'Óvila, car en 1216, Alphonse VIII l'a donné en seigneurie aux moines du proche monastère de Santa María d'Óvila. Il a ensuite été renommé Carrascosa del Río et en 1582, Carrascosa de Tajo, qui est son nom actuel.
