L'Académie valencienne de la Langue est l'institution de la Généralité valencienne fondée en 1998 et chargée de déterminer et d'élaborer les normes linguistiques du valencien tout en prenant en compte les traditions lexicographique et littéraire, et la réalité linguistique propre au valencien. L'AVL s'appuie sur les Normes de Castellón.
Depuis octobre 2011, l'académie est présidée par l'historien valencien Ramon Ferrer Navarro, en remplacement d'Ascensió Figueres Górriz, qui l'avait dirigée depuis sa fondation.
