L'église de Santa Cecilia de Ronda a appartenu à l' Ordre des Trinitaires déchaussés jusqu'en 1663 , date à laquelle ils ont construit l'église au-dessus de l'ermitage du Cristo de las Peñas. C'est le seul vestige d'un ancien monastère .
La façade principale est construite en blocs de pierre, avec un portail en pierre surélevé à l'avant, entouré d'une balustrade. L'entrée a la forme d'un arc roman, flanqué de colonnes toscanes .
Les points forts à l' intérieur sont les deux retables : San Antonio, une création du XVIIIe siècle en bois polychrome, et La Trinidad, un exemple du XIXe siècle néo-baroque avec un relief en bois polychrome.
L' ordre des Trinitaires Déchaussés est ainsi nommé parce qu'ils marchaient pieds nus dans leurs sandales .
