Tamminiemi est située dans le quartier de Meilahti à Helsinki. Elle fut la résidence officielle du Président de Finlande de 1940 à 1981. Elle abrite actuellement le musée Urho Kekkonen.La résidence conçue par les architectes Sigurd Frosterus et Gustaf Strengell dans le style Art nouveau est construite en 1904 en bord de mer pour l'homme d'affaires Jörgen Nissen. Sa surface habitable est de 450 mètres carrés. Le sauna de Tamminiemi est connu car le Président Kekkonen y accueillait ses invités.
