La Bastide-des-Jourdans est une commune française située dans le département de Vaucluse, en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.Le bourg est à environ 16 kilomètres au nord-est de la ville principale du secteur, Pertuis. Le village est situé à 410 mètres d'altitude, et son territoire couvre une superficie totale d’environ 2 774 ha. Sur le plan des voies de communication La-Bastide-des-Jourdans a été relativement avantagée. En effet, la portion d'itinéraire reliant Aix-en-Provence à Forcalquier et Manosque a déterminé son rôle d’étape, au confluent de l'Èze et du Ravin du Bois.
