Abriès est une ancienne commune française située dans le département des Hautes-Alpes en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Elle fait partie du parc naturel régional du Queyras et se trouve aux portes de la réserve naturelle de la haute vallée du Guil.
Ses habitants sont appelés les Abriessois ou les « trippés longés », ainsi surnommés par les villages voisins.
