Les Planches-près-Arbois est une commune française située dans le département du Jura, en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Cette commune est située au fond de la reculée des Planches dans l'un des sites naturels les plus remarquables du département par ses falaises et la grotte des Planches. L'ensemble de la reculée est un site classé au titre des sites naturels protégés et fait aussi partie des sites Natura 2000.
