Sarcelles est une commune française située dans le département du Val-d'Oise en région Île-de-France.
Ville emblématique de la banlieue parisienne, elle vit s'édifier un des premiers grands ensembles français de 1955 à 1970. Elle est devenue en l'an 2000 sous-préfecture du département du Val-d'Oise, en remplacement de Montmorency. Elle est également membre de la communauté d'agglomération Roissy Pays de France.
