Le Grand Aquarium – Saint Malo est situé à l’entrée de la cité corsaire de Saint-Malo, au cœur du bassin malouin, dans le département breton d'Ille-et-Vilaine. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1996.Appartenant aujourd’hui à Looping Group, opérateur européen de parcs de loisirs, cet établissement fait partie des principaux aquariums publics de France. Avec un total de 4 000 m2 et 2 500 000 L d’eau , on peut y observer 11 000 animaux du monde marin de 600 espèces différentes. En moyenne, 360 000 personnes visitent chaque année cet aquarium, ce qui en fait l'équipement touristique privé le plus visité de Bretagne[réf. nécessaire]. Elle est l'une des attractions touristiques d'Europe à avoir été distinguée par un Thea Award, décerné par la Themed Entertainment Association.
