Fumay est une commune française, située dans le département des Ardennes en région Grand Est. Fumay est parfois nommée « la cité de l'ardoise » en référence au matériau qui fit sa prospérité au XIXe siècle.Commune des Ardennes frontalière de la Belgique, Fumay se situe à 30 km au nord de Charleville-Mézières dans la pointe de Givet .
