Le château est reconstruit sur un édifice du XVIe siècle entre 1887 et 1905 dans un style néo-médiéval. Par la suite un étage supplémentaire décoré dans le style néogothique sera ajouté à l'édifice. Une tour trapue et massive est le seul témoin de la première construction du château. Un ensemble de communs composés de grandes écuries, d'appartement et de pavillons destinés à loger le personnel, situé dans le parc, complète l'édifice.
Le château n'est pas ouvert au public.
