La Fédération française de football est une association française loi de 1901 fondée le 7 avril 1919 sous le nom de Fédération française de football association par transformation du Comité français interfédéral créé en 1907, regroupant les clubs de football de France et de la principauté de Monaco et organisant les compétitions nationales et les matchs internationaux des sélections de joueurs français.
Elle est affiliée à la FIFA depuis 1919 en ayant pris la succession du Comité français interfédéral affilié depuis 1907 qui avait lui-même succédé à l'Union des sociétés françaises de sports athlétiques , membre fondateur de l'organisme international en 1904.
