Créé au milieu du XIXe siècle pour agrémenter l’hôtel particulier de la famille Moët et Chandon, le parc devient public en 1920.
Il relève à la fois du style à la française et du parc paysager. Le Temple de l’Amour a été restauré en 2004 et le parc a été réaménagé entre 2005 et 2010.
