Patrick Delfour et sa fille Aurélie ont voulu faire découvrir au visiteur l’histoire du biscuit, depuis l’antiquité jusqu’à nos jours, à travers différents objets récupérés au fil des ans.
Les débuts de la biscuiterie sont aussi retracés avec par exemple la fabrication maison des premiers moules à «Maryleine», ceux-ci n’étant pas présents dans le commerce. Des parchemins égyptiens qui témoignent de la fabrication de gâteaux dans l’antiquité, au séparateur d’œufs (appareil pour séparer le jaune des blancs), on découvre la passion qui anime le responsable de cet atelier.
Car c’est bien d’un atelier artisanal dont il s’agit, toute la fabrication étant faite ici à la main.
