Sur une colline au sud du village, cette église du 10ème siècle est la doyenne des églises du Pays de Nied. Son aspect extérieur, sobre et rustique, s'intègre parfaitement dans le paysage champêtre qui l'environne. L'édifice a connu de nombreuses transformations en plus de 1000 ans d'existence, jusqu'à sa restauration dans les années 70. Elle fut entreprise grâce à l'Abbé Weyland, qui voua son âme et son argent à la vieille église. Suite à l’apparition de fissures et la mise en place de consolidations provisoires, une campagne d’investigations a été lancée pour définir les travaux à engager.
