Eglise qui avait été édifiée à l'intérieur de la forteresse. Reconstruite fin XVIème. Accès empruntant des escaliers successifs ( élévation jusqu'au choeur ).Plan en croix latine avec les bras du transept peu saillants. 3 nefs de 6 travées. Colonnes en maçonnerie datant du XIIème.
Restaurations des voûtes au XIXème ( croisées d'ogives tripartites ).
-Intéressantes décorations murales dans le transept nord-est, représentant 14 litanies de la Vierge ( réalisées en 1893).
- Vitraux remarquables, d'époque récente - dont ceux de Hidého Matsuda, maître verrier japonais résidant à Chalette-sur-Loing.
- 2 tableaux du XIXème représentant St Pavas terrassant un dragon et le martyre de St Etienne.
