Le lieu-dit la Borne Brignon se trouve sur le tracé du GR5, au Sud de la commune de Turquestein-Blancrupt et à proximité de la Tête du Frésillon. Les bornes de la Borne Brignon se trouvent sur le chemin de bornes, un sentier circulaire de 47km jalonné de 166 bornes, toutes gravées aux armes de Saint-Quirin. Certaines bornes ont disparu avec le temps, d'autres ont été restaurées grâce aux bénévoles du Club Vosgien et de l'ONF.
