Ce bâtiment d'un seul étage à fronton central correspond au plan type des Chemins de fer du Nord, mais sans ailes latérales à plusieurs étages. La façade, proche de son état d'origine, est ornée de nombreux ornements . L' ancien château d'eau, dont la partie supérieure a été détruite, subsiste sur le site.
