L'itinéraire à pied commence à la gare de Sint-Omer, où se trouve également un parking. L'itinéraire passe au nord par le canal du Haut Pont et la rivière Aa jusqu'au village de Saint-Momelin. Ensuite, ça va à Clairmarais. Vous pouvez voir les ruines de l'ancienne abbaye. La ferme de l'abbaye encore intacte vaut également une photo. La dernière partie du parcours va de Clairmarais à Sint-Omer. La promenade fait 15,5 km de long et est presque complètement plate.
