Cet itinéraire commence au parking de la réserve naturelle, juste au nord de Clairmarais. La première partie recouvre les planches de bois des sols tourbeux du Clairmarais. C'est merveilleux de marcher au-dessus de l'eau entre les nombreux lacs. La route se dirige ensuite vers le village de Buysscheure, après quoi nous retournons à Clairmarais. En Clairmarais, les ruines de l'abbaye et la ferme de l'abbaye intacte méritent certainement une visite!
