Description by the author

This route starts at the parking of the nature reserve, just north of Clairmarais. The first part runs over the wooden planks over the peat soils of the Clairmarais. It is wonderful to walk above the water between the many lakes. The route then goes to the village of Buysscheure, after which we walk back to Clairmarais. In Clairmarais, the abbey ruins and the intact abbey farm are certainly worth a visit!
