Cette promenade se concentre sur la Réserve naturelle du Platier d’Oye . Cette réserve naturelle relativement jeune - elle n’a vu le jour qu’en 1987 - est le résultat de la « victoire » de l’homme sur la mer. La construction du Taafdijk en 1925 a empêché la mer de pénétrer plus loin au-delà des nombreux bancs de sable de cette région. Le voyage n’est pas si long, mais, parce que le sol d’odner est presque toujours du sable meuble des dunes, vous sentirez toujours les kilomètres dans vos mollets.
