Le village est situé sur la route secondaire B2076. La paroisse inclut le hameau d'Elmstone. La rivière principale de la région est un tributaire de la rivière Stour. Le suffixe 'next-Wingham' distingue la région de Preston-next-Faversham et le Domesday Book a chroniqué Preston sous le nom de 'Prestetune';
