Le château de Cockermouth est un château situé dans la ville de Cockermouth dans le comté anglais de Cumbria, qui est en partie en ruines. Le château, à l'embouchure du Cocker dans le Derwent, est classé par English Heritage comme bâtiment historique de grade I et est considéré comme un monument programmé.
Le premier château, une motte, a été construit en 1134 par les Normands à Cockermouth. Certains des matériaux nécessaires pour sa construction provenaient de l'ancienne colonie romaine de Derventio. Aux XIIIe et XIVe siècles, des ajouts significatifs ont été réalisés sur le château. Pendant les guerres des Roses, le château a joué un rôle essentiel, tout comme pendant la guerre civile anglaise. Lors de ce dernier conflit, il a été fortement endommagé.
