Le château de Sandal est un château médiéval en ruines, situé à Sandal Magna, une banlieue de la ville de Wakefield dans le Yorkshire de l'Ouest. Il surplombe la rivière Calder. Ce fut le site d'intrigues royales, il servit de décor pour la scène d'ouverture de l'une des pièces de William Shakespeare, et fut à l'origine d'une chanson enfantine populaire.
