Le circuit de Goodwood est un aérodrome de la RAF datant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale qui fut transformé par Frederick Gordon-Lennox, 9ème Duc de Richmond, en 1948 en autodrome. Il est situé dans le sud de l'Angleterre dans le West Sussex près de Chichester. Il accueillit des compétitions officielles de 1948 à 1966.
La première course fut organisée en septembre 1948 et gagnée par Stirling Moss sur une Cooper en monoplace 500 cm3 qui deviendra la Formule 3.
