Le tunnel piéton de Greenwich traverse sous la rivière Thames à East London, reliant Greenwich (Borough royal de Greenwich) sur la rive sud à Millwall (Borough londonien de Tower Hamlets) sur la rive nord. Le projet a débuté en juin 1899 et le tunnel a été ouvert le 4 août 1902. Le tunnel en fonte mesure 1 215 pieds (370,2 m) de long, 50 pieds (15,2 m) de profondeur et a un diamètre interne d'environ 9 pieds (2,74 m). Les anneaux en fonte sont recouverts de béton et revêtus de quelque 200 000 carreaux émaillés blancs.
