La bataille de Gunnislake New Bridge était une bataille qui a eu lieu le 20 juillet 1644 sur et autour de Gunnislake New Bridge, un pont sur la rivière Tamar entre Cornwall et Devon, pendant la Première Guerre Civile anglaise.
Pendant la guerre civile, le comté de Cornwall était entièrement loyal au roi Charles I et à la cause royaliste. Cependant, le Devon était parlementaire, faisant de la rivière Tamar le site de nombreuses batailles. Chaque camp comprenait que s'ils devaient soit envahir l'autre comté, soit se défendre contre une invasion, ils devaient contrôler les traversées de la Tamar. Gunnislake New Bridge était l'un des quatre ponts traversant la rivière Tamar.
