Primošten est un village et une municipalité située en Dalmatie, dans le comitat de Šibenik-Knin, en Croatie. Au recensement de 2001, la municipalité comptait 2 992 habitants, dont 97,03 % de Croates et le village seul comptait 1 761 habitants.La localité est située à environ 20 km au sud de Šibenik et à 35 km de l’aéroport de Split. La cité historique se situe sur une presqu’île rocheuse, alors que la cité nouvelle s’étend sur la terre ferme. Primošten est entouré par sept îlots inhabités.
