L'Ecrivain était un restaurant situé sur Lower Baggot Street à Dublin, en Irlande, qui a été récompensé d'une étoile Michelin de 2003 à 2020. Le Guide Michelin a décerné au restaurant le "M Rouge", indiquant "une bonne cuisine à un prix raisonnable", de 1996 à 1999.
Le propriétaire du restaurant était le chef célèbre irlandais Derry Clarke, qui est apparu dans des émissions de télévision telles que The Restaurant, The Afternoon Show et The Panel et a également été juge dans la série de télé-réalité Fáilte Towers. L'Ecrivain a été décrit comme "la cantine d'entreprise de Dublin" par l'Irish Independent. Le restaurant a été ouvert en 1989 par Derry Clarke et sa femme Sallyann. Il a fermé en mars 2021.
