Azzano d'Asti est une commune italienne de 381 habitants dans la province d'Asti au Piémont, située sur l'une des collines au sud du Tanaro qui traverse la partie plane du territoire communal. On suppose une origine romaine d'où le toponyme dérive du nom gentilice du propriétaire, Aius ou Agius.
