Les Sassi di Matera sont deux quartiers de la ville italienne de Matera, en Basilicate, connus pour leurs anciennes habitations troglodytes habitées depuis la période paléolithique.
Les "Sassi" ont été décrits par Fodor's comme "l'un des paysages les plus uniques d'Europe". Avec le parc des Églises rupestres, ils ont été classés au patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO en 1993.
