Matera Centrale est la principale gare ferroviaire de la ville italienne de Matera, en Basilicate. Elle appartient aux Ferrovie Appulo Lucane, une entreprise privée basée à Bari, et est la gare la plus proche des Sassi.
La gare a été ouverte en 1915, en tant que terminal sud de la ligne venant de Bari et Altamura. En 1928, le tronçon Matera-Miglionico a été ouvert, faisant partie de la ligne vers Ferrandina et Montalbano Jonico, qui a fonctionné entre 1932 et 1972. À l'origine une gare de surface, elle a été transformée en gare souterraine.
