Le musée Revoltella est une galerie d'art moderne située sur la Piazza Venezia de Trieste. Le musée fut fondé en 1872 par le baron Pasquale Revoltella, lequel l'a légué à la ville avec les ouvrages, meubles et livres qu’il contenait.
Le bâtiment principal, conçu par Friedrich Hitzig, a été construit en 1858. Afin d'agrandir la collection d'origine en 1907, la ville acquiert le palais Brunner situé à proximité. Cependant, ce bâtiment n'a été pleinement utilisé qu'en 1963, à la suite d'une restructuration réalisée par Carlo Scarpa. Le musée se compose de trois bâtiments, d'une surface totale d'exposition de 4 000 mètres carrés. L'entrée principale est située Via Diaz.
