La Grotta di Cocceio est un ancien tunnel romain d'environ un kilomètre de long reliant le lac Avernus à Cumes et datant de 38-36 av. J.-C. Il a été creusé dans la pierre de tuf du Monte Grillo par l'architecte Lucius Cocceius Auctus à la demande d'Agrippa qui était en train de convertir le lac en port militaire, le Portus Julius.
